An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Sales Team. As a member of the sales team you will come in to contact with Groomers, Vets, Pet Owners on a daily basis.  You will also have travel opportunities and be a part of our Grooming Seminars, Shows such as Crufts and our own successful Groom Pro Expo. 


Handling incoming telephone, email & digital sales orders & enquiries from our customers.

Understanding our customer & their business to ensure that we provide a high standard of shopping experience at all times

Working to individual & team targets

Working as part of a team, treating each customer as a valued individual, with care & respect & providing the highest level of customer care at all times & delivering brand values.

Maintaining a detailed product knowledge of the brand range in order to advise on the best products & services for customer needs & build a desire for these.

Ability to communicate effectively through telephone and digital channels to various customer bases.

Adhere to company policy & procedures in relation to discounts, returns & delivery queries, acting inside established delegation of authority

Contribution to team meetings

Take full responsibility for the work that you are involved in, generating good discussions with your peer group & Team Manager as needed.

Pro-active sales through outbound calls to existing customer bases & potential customers.

Responsible for assigned groups of customers to establish further business growth.

Attention to detail & working in a confidential manner

Travel to and attending UK and international shows

Supporting customer care team

Essential Criteria

3 GCSEs, Grades A-C including Maths and English

Excellent customer engagement skills in a similar role 

Excellent Organisational and Time Management Skills

Flexible in your working approach with the ability to multi task

Focused on delivering excellent sales growth

Accurate data entry skills

A polite and professional telephone manner

Ability to demonstrate strong IT skills – EPOS systems, CRM systems and Microsoft Office and Google Sheets

Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Enthusiastic and Positive can-do attitude with a keen willingness to learn

Excellent Self Motivator

High levels of confidentiality and security of the company’s and client documentation and information.  

Honest, acts with integrity and takes responsibility.


A qualification in Retail or Customer Service would be an advantage

Ability to communicate effectively in a second language - As we expand and grow our sales in other countries, we are particularly interested in hearing from French speaking candidates, with a high level of both verbal and written communication
