Seacoya Group is one of the leading employers in the North Antrim area and is keenly focused on online sales.   We are currently recruiting for this position within our web department focusing on web development, reporting and analysis. In the role you will be working as a key member of the development/technical team. 

Job Duties:

  • Develop and maintain websites across the company divisions
  • Provide technical support when necessary
  • Responsible for writing efficient code in HTML/CSS
  • Analyse SQL reports and create new reports if require
  • Integrating data from Microsoft .NET platform using SQL databases
  • Testing sites and applications in different browsers and environments
  • Testing new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all cases
  • Meeting designers, developers and project staff for progress updates
  • Staying up to date with new trends and advancements in web development and security


Essential Criteria:

  • GCSE A*-C in Maths, English 
  • GCSE / A-Level in ICT/Computing/Technology related subject
  • A strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
  • Experience with content management systems (Magento, WordPress, etc.)
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: HTML5, CSS3, XHTML,  LESS, SASS, Bootstrap, XML, JSON, JavaScript, Ajax or MySQL 
  • Sound working knowledge of MS Office Applications and Adobe Packages
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively, accurately and meet deadlines
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to analyse data
  • Close attention to detail
  • Passion for problem solving


Desirable Criteria:

  • 1 years experience in a professional environment
  • HND/BSc/BEng in Computing or related studies or studying towards
  • Experience with Dreamweaver or similar
  • Experience with a back end language would be an advantage, eg PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl or Node.js

Please note that this is a placement opportunity from 9-12 months.  Successful candidates would be starting approx September 2020
