 We are a world-leading supplier of professional pet grooming products and our website currently exports to more than 100 countries worldwide. We also have distributors in more than 40 countries who distribute our Groom Professional brand, which is now the leading pet grooming brand in Europe. 

We now have a vacancy for a Brand Development Executive to drive our brand, product innovation, and marketing.

This is a key role in the business and the ideal candidate will have marketing experience, a passion for products and brands, as well as the ability to work in a fast-moving business.  You will have knowledge of best practice marketing techniques, as well as the ability to create brand stories and customer excitement around brands. You liaise closely with our purchasing team to ensure timely deliveries and on-time launches. A relevant university qualification would be an advantage, as well as experience in taking brands from zero to hero. 

The role will include:

Developing new products and brands, to ensure we remain a world leader in pet grooming products

Liaise with senior management and the sales team to understand customer requirements

Conduct strategic reviews of markets to identify opportunities and trends

Liaising with the purchasing team regularly during the product development process

Continually develop our own brand ranges and products and drive product innovation to deliver increased market share by developing brand stories and unique packaging

Develop brand marketing plans with our award-winning marketing team, ensuring that products and packaging are consistent with the company strategy

Deliver product range improvements by introducing outside brands and concepts

Ensure that products and packaging is consistent with the company strategy

Work closely with the design team to create market-leading branding

Responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary product expertise to enable them to sell the product. This involves printed and electronic promotional material, product training, and other relevant information.

Design market research projects to assess customer attitudes to the current product range and new products that may be required in the future.

Liaise with the designer and marketing departments regarding the product marketing campaign using traditional and digital marketing methods. 


 Essential Criteria

BSc/BA in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field

1 Year experience in a similar role (placement year will also be considered)
